Roles and responsibilities:

1. Undertakes feasibility studies for major IT developments incorporating costs and benefits, and presents proposals to clients;

2. Communicates the impact of emerging technologies to clients and advises upon the potential introduction of such technology;

3. Provides advice and assistance in the procurement, provision, delivery, installation, maintenance and use of IT systems and their environments;

4. Examines existing business models and flows of data and designs functional specifications and test plans for new systems in order to meet clients needs;

5. Researches, analyses, evaluates and monitors network infrastructure and performance;

6. Works closely with clients to implement new systems;

7. Liaises with internal/external clients in order to analyse business procedure, clarify clients
requirements and to define the scope of existing software, hardware and network provision;

8. Ability to update with new and upcoming technologies and tools;

9. Agile development experience and leading the development of architectures;

10. Knowledge of public cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure;

11. Knowledge of delivering software designs for multi-tiered modern software applications.

Skills experience:

1. Good knowledge in an architecture role;

2. Knowledge in Agile,Java, C#, .Net, AWS, Azure,Cloud ,Security Technology and Firewalls would be an added advantage;

3. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies;

This is an excellent opportunity for a Software Tester who is looking to build on their skills of agile testing methodology on recent technology.

Essential skills and experience required for the Software Tester / QA Engineer:

Undertakes the testing of software, systems or computer games for errors, identifies source of problems and  proposes solutions;

  1. Undertakes the testing of software, systems or computer games for errors, identifies source of problems and proposes solutions;
  2. Develops, implements and documents test plans for IT software, systems and computer games;
  3. Develops quality standards and validation techniques;
  4. Makes recommendations concerning software/system quality;
  5. Examines IT system for potential threats to its security and integrity and draws up plans for disaster recovery if security is compromised;
  6. Deals with and reports on breaches in security.
  7. Manages smooth implementation and testing of the system at client location.
  8. Manages project in Agile-kanban methodology.
  9. An understanding of C# or Java,Selenium Webdriver, Gherkin, Cucumber would be useful.
  10. Track record of managing test plans, bug reports and tracking.

Requirements - Software Tester / QA Engineer:

  1. Ideally Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field.
  2. Hands on experience in manual testing and automation experience, building frameworks is advantageous.
  3. Good knowledge of at least one scripting language/programing language.
  4. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  5. Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes.
  6. UNIX & SQL knowledge is advantageous.

  8. Plans and maintains database structures;
  9. Writes operational documentation and provides subsequent support and training for users.
  10. Responsible for analysis, design, development and creating prototypes.
  11. Responsible for project planning, tracking, and estimation on design and development.
  12. Responsible for Database design, Data analysis, Data warehouse, Data modeling, and data migration.

Core Technology Skills: Experience in web technologies like ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX.

Database: SQL Server 2000/2005/2008

Reporting tool: Crystal reports, Rational XDE VISIO

Programming Languages:VB.Net, C#

Essential Skills:

  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  2. A proactive approach to Assigned tasks
  3. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are highly essential.
